Eritrean & Ethiopian Cuisine
In The Heart Of Durban, South Africa

Habesha Café is an Eritrean and Ethiopian restaurant located in the trendy and vibrant neighborhood of Glenwood, in the coastal city of Durban. Our restaurant offers authentic and delightful African culinary experience and a taste of culture.  An African flavor with a surprise! Our delicious and flavor-packed food eaten by hand – finger licking good! Never mind if you cannot do without a knife and fork, we do provide.
The term “Habesha”, in Habesha Café, is a term Eritreans and Ethiopians use to refer to themselves. Habesha is a term of pride, which is used to eliminate the distinction between different tribes and also to celebrate unity as people of the same region. Habesha Café welcomes you into a wonderful space of warm-heartedness, good food, and diversity.
